Event description
What is the role of inner development in social change? How do social fields and systemic conditions enable or inhibit transformation? How can spirituality and esoteric wisdom help us address our contemporary predicaments? These are the kinds of questions we explore in Nurturing the Fields of Change, a programme and community of practice for people working towards a better world. Launching into its third cycle in February, this year the programme explores the intersections between subtle activism, creativity and magic, diving into topics such as: Transhumanism, artificial intelligence and active imagination; the role of ritual and liminality in social change; subtle fields and social magic; and the dark side of social change and the desire to transform our world.
Nurturing the Fields of Change is an experiment. We explore many ideas, theories, models, and practices. We recognise that when comes to the big questions of our time, no one model or map can reflect the complexity of the challenges we face. Hence, what we do together may be best described as collaborative inquiry and playful sense-making. We cultivate the relational field, seed topics, invite multiple ways of knowing, and pay attention to what wants to emerge between us.
Intrigued? Come and join this session to sample the topics and programme experience!
